Thank you very much for the fave. It's always wonderful to see people who enjoy realism. :)

I enjoy realism as well as fantastical things. I'm not too fond of abstract and modern art. As far as realistic art goes, masterful drawings are always worthy of merit. and practice with realism can assist in making fantasy artwork more convincing. yes? :)
:iconligers-mane:
That is very, very true. One of my favorite art teachers always said that if you want to manipulate the world around you (in your art), you must first know exactly how the world around you looks.

word. my own realistic artwork is currently in development. there is much room for improvement. and your hands are beautiful. hands are the worst in my opinion. when i make characters, i never know what to do with their hands. its frustrating sometimes.

There are some wonderful book out there that have reference after reference of hand poses, so check around. Also, *wiggles fingers*, you have these great guys right here. Hands can be frustrating, it's true, but I've always loved 'em. I just can't get around how many people don't get the proportions between the face and the hands correct. I can't tell you how many pictures I've seen with great proportions until you see the LONG fingers engulfing a face.

Good luck!
